Hi, currently accepted to LECOM PBL pathway, but I am waitlisted to Touro CA and Touro Harlem.
Not sure if it is worth it to write an intent letter to one of the Touros, but currently leaning toward Touro CA. Im thinking of trying for a competitive speciality like dermatology or heme/oncology (any type of oncology, just not sure yet)
LECOM
Pros
-cheap
-good opportunities for research
-real cadaver labs
-high board pass rates
Cons
-weird/strict rules
-OOS, so no family or friends around

Touro CA
Pros
-pass/fail
-real cadaver labs
-good research opportunitiies in the Bay Area
-nearish family (school is in norcal, I am from socal)
Cons
-expensive
-lower board pass rate

Touro Harlem
Pros
-real cadaver labs
-good research opportunities in NYC
-went to undergrad in NYC, so have support system there
Cons
-expensive

This just a brief jot down of what I know, I would have to research more. But would love some input from others, thanks!

I feel like these are all relatively equivalent. LECOM sticker price is a big plus though.

Where do you see yourself happiest? Are any close to loved ones?
