Has anybody asked if this does, in fact, give the applicant a leg up?

"Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have taken courses in anatomy (3 hours), physiology (4 hours), microbiology (4 hours), and physics (4 hours). Students should consider additional courses in cell biology, histology, immunology and molecular/genetic biology. Understanding of these sciences will be beneficial for the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions of the curriculum."
 
haha well if it does make a dif. then im pretty stoked cause ive taken all these classes. But still if you havent taken a lot of these classes and still have a pretty competitive gpa and dat score then i wouldnt be too worried

im still waiting to hear from them.

Talked to them last week...They aren't giving out more interviews until November unless somebody cancels on them..

If your app is complete and your LECOM portal updated, you likely won't hear anything until then:/
