Greetings everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has researched this, know's anyone involved, or is currently pursuing this program at LECOM. I'm interested in primary care and this option seems almost too good to be true. Is it competitive to obtain? How do these folks match...any difficulties? Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry to chime in, I have some questions regarding this program: Do you apply to this program separately? If not, how do they pick applicants?

I'm also highly interested in this program..hopefully someone in it can shed some light when they see this thread. I wonder if you apply separately and if its less competitive or more? Im assuming less?

You'll apply the same way as everyone else, but you'll rank it higher when they ask you which pathway you want to go with. I can't speak to how competitive it is; I'd imagine you'd have to be equal to other applicants in order to get an interview, but it would seem like they'd work things differently after the interview than other applicants. They give you your highest open choice when you're accepted, but I don't think they'd put someone in the PCSP if they didn't rank it highly.

This pathway limits your residency options tremendously. That was why I didn't choose it. Additionally, I didn't like the idea of basically 3 years with no vaction at all... It depends on what you want, it MAY be too good to be true for you
