Left my interview packet and it was sent to my house

Thanks too all who responded. I'm praying for success in this cycle for all of you!

Even more harrowing - at one of my interviews, we were given iPads to carry with us through the day, something I was not used to. Midway through the tour, I completely panicked when I realized that I had left it in the library room we had had lunch in! Luckily, the student tour guide brought me back to the library, where the librarian had the iPad. Despite it, I still got in! 🙄

You'll be fine. Not the first or the last.

Why did they give you all iPads?

Why did they give you all iPads?

They heavily integrate iPads into their curriculum (every student gets one when they matriculate). Which is cool, but the only thing we used them for was a case discussion that probably could have just been done with a piece of paper, lol. Definitely unnecessary.

Yeah that seems super unnecessary lol. Just trying to impress the applicants.

Friendo, I come bearing good news. I left my folder and a school-themed notebook with all my relevant notes behind at an interview and got accepted. They know we’re all a mess and luckily the saintly admissions staff who sent it back are not allowed to make admissions decisions (or so I’ve heard). I believe it’s just admissions committee members who are allowed to say yay or nay, and it would be a very insecure school that asks admissions staff to report to them if an interviewee leaves their packet behind on their interview day.

So, I left my interview packet at a school I was interviewing for and they mailed it to me. Although I left it on accident as I was in a rush to my flight home, I understand this kinda looks bad. So, what do you think? Am I dinged?

on the day of the interview I spent 30 minutes picking out A BLOUSE. Listen... NO ONE CARES. Seriously. But do send them an email thanking them. You are fine. trust me.
