Hi all! I am fortunate enough to get an A from USF which I am incredibly grateful for, however I am not from Florida. I haven't received an II from my state school so I am wondering if I should send them a letter saying I have an A at an OOS school. I know people say a pre-II LOI looks desperate, but obviously, since I have an A from a similar caliber school its not so much desperation as it is wanting to stay in state. Thanks!

I don't think this specific communication will help you at all, they might just say congratulations and we hope you enjoy your time there...

If you wanted to send a different letter telling about anything new you have been doing that will support your application, you could send that kind of an update letter.
