Letter of Intent?

Is writting a Letter of Intent post interview strictly for med students? Is it wise to write on to a school at which you haven't received an interview invite yet?

I don't think it will hurt your chances if you write a letter of intent to the school indicating your interest in being in your dental program. Because we are reaching the end of the application cycle, and many schools conclude their interviews around March or April, if you really want that interview you should really push for it now!
