I've sent in to my #1, but was considering sending an email of interest to a PD at a program I'm ranking lower.

Obviously, I realize its february 13th and lists are due in less than weeks. Is it even worth sending an email at this point, or just waiting for match day?

Some programs have completed their lists, and others haven't. Either way, it can't hurt I don't think. It just depends whether you want to take the time to write them or not. (I'm in the same position btw!)
