Hello,

I was wondering if a research professor would count as a science professor since he did give me a grade. Currently I have 3 LOR (2 science, and 1 dentist). But I just wasn't sure if that would count as a science recommendation letter.

Thanks,

Usually it does not count. By science professor they mean a professor you have taken a class with. If you have taken a class and did research with them im not too sure. I don't know of any dental school that doesn't consider it that way but you can always call the dental schools you are interested to check.

Yeah I just wasn't sure because we had to do presentations for research and it counted towards a grade. But thank you so much, I think I will call the schools and see what they say!

Yeah I know you received a grade for it but research is not a structured class/lecture so I don't think it counts.
