Hello all,
I am going to apply to allopathic schools in June. Unfortunately, I have been a bit relaxed on trying to get letters of recommendation over my recent years of education. I do have a 4.0 right now, but I have not gotten a letter of rec from any of my professors because I usually am not in office hours with them. I only go there if I really need help with something, but most the time I try to figure things out on my own. I feel like this has had its disadvantage because even though I have good grades I do not know if I can get a letter of rec anymore form any of those previous professors. Has anyone done this before? If so, I would like to hear about your experience. In addition, I am still in school right now so if anyone has any pointers on getting these letters please let me know. Also, I know this is a dumb question, but what really goes into these science instructor letter of recs if you never did any research for them? How could they know you well enough just through office hours and an A in the class?
Thanks in advance.
