I ended with an A in ochem II; but my ochem prof was terrible (average was around 50-60; many students complained) and supposedly, she's going to be downgraded to a TA for next semester 😕

Can I still ask for a letter of recommendation or no? Lol.

You can be downgraded to a TA if you have your doctorate and are a professor? Thats odd, granted at my school most TA's are grad students. Still seems odd. With that said, if she was your professor at the time then by all means get her to write you a lor.
