I am planning on applying this upcoming cycle, but have a question about my planned letter of recs. My main letter of rec will be coming from my PI hopefully, whose lab I have worked in for almost 3 years. However, I have also had him for classes, and performed well in them. Could he act as my science letter of rec and my PI letter of rec requirements assuming that I only have one other science professor LOR planned? Or will I need another separate science professor for the LOR, and then have my PI just discuss my lab work? Thanks
