Sorry if this is a dumb question....will admission committees evaluate an applicant's application before all of the letters of rec are received? ALso, do they request interviews before all of the letters of rec are recieved?

Thanks,
Chris

Most schools will not consider an application until it is deemed complete; that means the secondary must be in, the application fee must be paid, and the all of the REQUIRED recs must be received by the admissions office. My advice to you is to get the minimum number of recs in as soon as you can.

I guess it depends on the school. I don't think any school would accept you before getting all your letters of rec., but they might review your file for an interview invite. I interviewed at UW-Madison before my secondary was complete. Maybe you should call the schools you applied to and ask them. I'd still get those letters in asap. Good luck!
