Hi All,

After waiting for a LOE from a DO to arrive at Interfolio for one month, I decided to use an MD letter instead. I was sick of waiting (I'm already submitting late!), so thought this would be the prudent thing to do. I contacted schools and notified them that I would be making a change in LOE writers, and they changed things on their end.

So, it's two days after submitting, and I got the letter from Interfolio. Now I have the DO LOE, but I've already submitted the MD one. Should I email the admissions people and make the switch back, or just let it ride?

Thanks,

C😕

Why not just send both letters, and let it ride...

I'm assuming that the schools didn't require a DO LOR. I guess it depends on how long your file has been under review at these schools, I don't think any of us will really be able to give you a clear yes or no. I know that you just submitted your letters a couple of days ago, but you are coming up on a time where adcoms might not be in their offices due to the hollidays so if you feel strongly about changing it then do it ASAP.
