So I will be starting MS1 this fall and I just had a question about letters of recommendation.

I have 4 letters in my school's letter service that I used in my medical school applications. I was wondering if it is worthwhile to start an interfolio account right now and transfer those letters over? Do you guys ever end up needing any letters from undergrad? Also I was thinking about having interfolio for letters during medical school but for that I probably don't need it for another two years?

Won't be that useful because the recs will be talking about medical school. You will have to ask the people who wrote you recs to re-write it to make it generic.

Letters to be uploaded to residency applications (ERAS) were processed through my deans office and uploaded that way. Letters from undergrad are generally useless after you get into medical school. In fact, almost everything from undergrad is useless and its best to stop talking about it once you get to your medical school. That is, nobody cares about your GPA, MCAT, ECs once you get in.

Thanks for the reply

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't your undergraduate transcript considered in residency application? (Even though it doesn't carry much weight)

Undergrad transcript (and GPA) is not part of ERAS, but I have heard of a few individual residency programs rarely asking for it. It's a bit like asking for high school transcripts in a med school application.
