Hello,

I am a junior pre-dent student and I plan on applying to schools this summer. As of now, I have two letters of recommendation (1 from a science professor and 1 from a general dentist). After researching some schools, I have found that most of them require letters from at least two science professors. My question is, do you have to have all your letters along with your primary app (which I plan on having complete as soon as the window opens) or are you allowed to send them in later? I am asking because I would like to have a letter or two written by professors I have this semester.

Thanks.

You can send them later.

As a general rule, get one from a bio professor and one from a chem professor.

Also, to be in the first batch, you have until around June 25th to get everything in. If you go ahead and make them aware now, that would give them from about May 10-June 25 to write your letter. That's a good deal of time, especially if they can start thinking about it now.
