Hey guys, Im starting to fill out my LOR's for DO schools. Some DO's schools require LOR's from 2 science professors and 1 non-science professor. I took a sadowing externship class where I shadowed a doctor for the semester. Shes a professor at a medical school, just not the school I go. Can I use her as a science prefessor? I already filled the requirement of a physician LOR from another doctor. Please help!!

She didn't teach you in a classroom setting, correct? if so then her letter cannot count as a science letter.

Most schools require them from a professor who taught you in a class (some say that directly). Contact old profs and find someone! It's tough but doable.
