hey guys, just out of curiosity, I've already had them sent it, but just for my piece of my mind. All my recommendation letters are from overseas except one since I just go to school in the US, and most of my free time is spent in the Middle East, were I'm from. Is that alright? the letter that isn't is from a science professor in my school, and the other two from overseas are both from dentist's that I shadowed and worked for...am i fine? or did i just screw myself over?

thanks!

george

As long as you have the correct LORs from the correct people(Ie. Sci Profs, Dentists, Etc) I don't see a problem what country they are from.

perfect, I feel so much better now🙂 thanks a lot !

I had one letter from a dentist oversea also... Its OK, however, don't underestimate a ad com's "superiority complex" about foreign dentists.. I actually made sure to include 3 other letters from science prof.s from my school, just to be on the safe side.

Don't be afraid to become friends with profs!! Throughout the semester ask lots of questions and really try to stand out with your interest in learning and LORs will be no problem!
