Letters of Recommendation?

I'm a nontraditional student trying to apply to medical school, but I'm not very computer friendly. Where are we supposed to send our letters of recommendation? Do we send them directly to the schools, or to AMCAS?

They go directly to the schools; AMCAS is not involved in LOR's.

You might want to check out www.interfolio.com. Since you can't send the letters yourself, and since it's a big hassle to get your writers to send them when the schools want them, especially if you're applying broadly, Interfolio collects them for you and you can direct them to send out a packet whenever a school asks for them. It's relatively inexpensive (it was cheaper than my college service charged for doing the same thing) and you have as much control as possible, which I liked.

Good luck! :luck:

Hopefully, you have a premed advisor and premed departmet that will help you with these LORs, even as a non-trad. I would start with them.
