So while I was CWRU, a student told me that 95% of the people who get interviewed at Case get accepted to some med school eventually. My student interviewer at Jefferson told me the same thing about Jefferson. The problem is, I've been put on waitlist/alternate list everywhere I've interviewed except for one school that I'm still waiting to hear from and I've been on hold for interview at a number of other schools. So are those statistics just something they tell you to make you feel better? I'm losing my optimism... 🙁

I'm sure you are going to be fine. You are at much better position than I am. It is still early, and I'm sure the wait list will move as time goes. I think I would just be patient. Try writing a letter of intent to schools that you are really interested in attending. It may help. Good Luck!

I think they do like to say that crap to make you feel better. I mean, I'd love to see their data on that one. That being said, I still think you have a good chance. If you're on alot of waitlists, there's a good chance you're going to come off of one of them. Keep at it. Write application updates, LOI to your favorite school, and see what happens!
