If I get my medical license and DEA before signing a work contract, will they reimburse me? Contract has a "business fees" reimbursement which I believe this would fall under.

Maybe. Some employers will reimburse you for expenses prior to being hired. Some will not. You'll need to ask.

This would likely fall under that reimbursement. My employer reimbursed me for my license and DEA fees even though I'd paid them 6 and 15 months prior (respectively) and have continued to pay them for me since.

Best way to assure this is to have it directly mentioned in contract, example: "licensing fees which are needed to perform job function"

Usually a new job has people who do all of that for you. I know when I got hired in Montana during residency the job did all that paperwork.
