Hi all,
I am currently in the proces of applying for permanent licensure. I was in a residency program prior to the one in which I am in currently. The question is to whom do I send the post graduate verification paperwork to, as the current program director at the last program is different than the person who was the program director when I was present; the former program director is still at the former institution.

You need to send it to someone who can verify that you have X number of years of PG training. Start with your current PC and see what happens.

The paperwork usually stipulates that the residency verification has to come from the program's current Program Director. All future licensing bodies and employers will want this verification, no matter how little time you spent in that program. That Program Director may solicit input from the prior Program Director, particularly if he/she is still around--but the verification itself is from the person with the title.

Yep that is the case (the PD from my residency program is someone different than it was when I was there. Fortunately, the current PD knows me, but he told me that in such instances, they just go back to the resident file for verification anyway.)
