Likelihood of interviews being online in the Fall?

With some schools already announcing classes will be online in the fall, is it more than likely interviews will be done remotely? Has anyone heard anything about this?

It's too early to say, but with several schools moving to 100% virtual for fall semester, I think it's probable.

I asked several schools in the virtual fair today. All of them said they haven't decided yet. I remember one school said that they would prefer to hold in-person interviews if the COVID gets under control.

Depending on each State it will be different. Some states with less number of Covid cases probably still will prefer in person interviews. I personally think in person interviews are much more beneficial as you get to see the school in person followed by dental students or residence and you can have a conversation with them in regard to the school & their curriculum🙂

Online interviews would be a nightmare. I can't imagine applying for residency and not being able to give my interviewer a handshake
