How far back do you go when you list community service and volunteer hours? Do you only list hours in college? since high school? all your life?

Not to try and take away from the OPs question, but I have a similar question. I did a high school program called school-to-career where I went in and shadowed a dentist for half the year during my senior year.
Should I count these hours and add them to the hours that I end up putting on my applications?

I only applied to the Texas schools thru TMDSAS, but on their application it specified service/jobs/shadowing/etc... AFTER HIGHSCHOOL.
I would assume that all schools feel the same. You should have enough service from the last 3 yrs of college.
