Listing study abroad coursework, please help!

I did a research in overseas one summer. The program was sponsored by my home instutition in the states, so the course was listed in my home school's transcript (as credit only course).

According AMCAS's instruction, I'm still supposed to list this course under the foreign institution, using the course number, credit hour, and all that from my home institution's transcript. Is this correct? Thanks in advance!

If your home institution granted you credit and sponsored the program then AMCAS does not require a transcript from the foreign institution. In entering coursework on AMCAS you will say that the work was completed abroad (i.e. at the foreign institution) but for the course names/grades/credits you will put EXACTLY what appears on your home institution transcript.

The key here is to have all the coursework appear exactly as it does on the transcripts you send to AMCAS. So, to answer your question, yes. You are correct.

For the most part I did exactly what tlaoc87 suggested! However, I did contact the dean at the uni that hosted me abroad and obtained the course number as well as the credit hours. If I remember correctly, there is a place to designate what courses were taken abroad and if they appear on a US transcript.
