I just got my interview invitation from LIU.

This is my first interview so I really don't know how to prepare for the interview.

I have questions for those of you who admitted last year or someone who applied before.

Would it be beneficial to have interview early? (LIU let us choose between beginning of Feb through end of Mar)

what would be the possible questions? or anyone got difficult or unexpected question before?

there's also essay part, and I have no idea what are the possible topics.

I interviewed last year, and I got my invitation pretty late. I believe my interview was on the second week of March. I'm not sure whether or not it affects your chances, but I got in.

As the OP was asking, can you tell us what to expect? Will there an essay portion? (SDNers say so, but the school didn't mention anything in the interview invite)

We were asked to arrive an hour earlier than our scheduled interview to check in and to do the essay portion. Some of the essay questions from last year were: "Should cigarettes be sold in pharmacies?" and "Should the US start offering universal health care?"

Thank you,naseuy for clarifying. I think they might be doing it differently this year. They said to be there only 15 mins early.
I'm out of state so I just wanted to make sure, JFK is the closest airport right?

i have an interview on march 7th, i got an email stating i should arrive 15 mins prior to scheduled time and another email after i set up my date stating that the session will last from 2pm - 2:40pm...doesn't seem that long so i wonder if we'll be doing an essay..

i got the invite on feb 27th (4 days ago), and according to the online available dates, march 7th was the last one, so i had to pick that date...i'm not even close to being prepared...

im not prepharm student at LIU...i have a BA in Bio from RU though

I think that interview starts from march to April. By the way, do you know anyone who had interview in LIU yet?

I am still waiting for interview invitation, too. I don't know anyone who had interview yet. It seems that everyone waits to get invitation

Yes, don't lose hope, still time for interviews. I did my interview on Mar 7..think it went well since they seemed impressed, hope it improves my chances!

I had my interview on March 7th as well, I thought I did well, but now that I have thought about it over and over, I'm not so sure anymore 😕. Does anyone know when you start getting acceptances from LIU?

I think the letters are sent out in Late April or early May.

It could be earlier since they're application deadline was a month earlier this year.

Touro is going to be letting people know by April 15th.
