Hey Guys, I know there is a similar thread about this but its a few years old.

So I've been accepted to both LMUDCOM and GA-PCOM and I'm definitely grateful for both these opportunities. I'm just having a hell of a time deciding where to go.

I am from the Atlanta area, and I even went to undergrad close by. Since GA-PCOM is 15 minutes from my parents house it makes sense to go there. It's a good school with a decent reputation and I know they have an excellent faculty. They've offered me a small merit based scholarship, and I'll most likely qualify for their financial aid scholarships, too.

LMUDCOM has less of a reputation, but I absolutely loved everything about the place. I've always loved mountains. Everyone was so nice and really seemed to enjoy being a part of the school. It's about 5 hours from home but only an hour away from my cousin's house who I'm pretty close with. So I feel like if I need family support, it'll be easy to obtain. Since they're a new school they don't have funds to offer their students and I would end up taking out the full loan.

I should mention too that I chose osteopathic medicine because I want to go into OMM. These are the only two schools I interviewed at, and they both offer OMM (or OPP) fellowships which I'm pretty interested in also. If anyone wants to comment on the OMM department at either of these schools, that'd be great!

Thanks for any input! And I know I'm lucky that I even have the option to make such an important decision
🙂
