is there a good book/website w/ succint info regarding where a lesion is along the brain/spinal cord if a patient has a certain symptom or vice-versa? Not anything really complicated like an entire clinical vignette...but something brief like: 1) cut X on right side --> no pain/temp sensation on Left side because .... thanks.

write out for yourself- where the CST, STT, DC/ML cross, where each CN nucleus comes out of the brain stem- eg III,IV,V midbrain, VI, VII-->VIII pons, IX--> XII medulla and know that pure motor and pure sensory are lacunar and you can get a lot of the lesions. you might need to be more specific- eg GSE are generally in such and such position if you are taking a first or second year course though.

neuroanatomy made ridiculously simple and hi yield Neuro worked great for me
