Hi guys,
I also got waitlisted at several top schools and would like to send them the letters of interests. Should I let them know that I already got in some schools, but still remain continued interests in their schools? Should I mention the name of schools that I got accepted in the Letters of Interests? I heard that they will give more chance to the person without no acceptance than a person currently holding acceptances.

Should I mention that I will surely go to their school of being accepted?

Thanks,

Hey,
you should do a search in this forum about letters of interest. That might help.

I would not tell the school that you're writing the letter of interest to that you've been accepted elsewhere. focus on their school and tell them why you want to go there. but keep it short.

A letter of interest is different from a letter of intent. A letter of intent states that if you get into that particular school you will attend there no matter where else you get accepted. It states that that particular school is your number one choice. Although it's not legally binding, it'll look really bad if you get in to the school where you sent the letter of intent and then withdraw. So if you are planning on sending out a letter of intent only send one. You can send multiple letters of interest however.

hope that helps! good luck!
