I've got this book that says:

Average GPA: 3.7
Average MCAT: 8.9

But hey, it's a canadian book, eh? Might not be totally reliable all the way down in Cali.. =)

Do non-Cali residents have a chance of getting in to Loma Linda?

LLU is a Seventh Day Adventist school, so their priorities are to SDAs, then other similar Christians, and then to people willing to abide their school policies (no drinking -not sure if this is only campus or not - and no bringing pork on campus - there are other requirements too, but those were the most stringent) other than that, I'm not sure they go beyond that.

It is a private school so out of staters have just as good of shot as California residents.

I have a friend on the LLU adcom. She gave me the following pecking order for what the school wants:
1. SDA
2. People who are going to stay in the area/serve the community
3. Christians in general
