Hello,

I'm a pain PA, looking to meet pain physicians in the NYC Area, interested in collaborating. I am in the process of opening an interventional pain management practice. Physician would supervise PAs and perform the interventional procedures only (epidurals, facet blocks, etc).

Reply to this thread if interested to connect, or message me.

Thanks!

You mention fellow pain physicians but you’re a PA right?

I am a PA. Sorry, misspelled.

Greetings fellow dancing monkeys. I’m opening a dancing monkey clinic in the LA area. Any dancing monkeys interested in collaborating?

This is a complete joke. You will own the practice? Let me guess, find some loser to make "Medical Director" and this is run by you or private equity? This is a Pain Physicians forum. I'll take your info down though - Perhaps if one of us is interested in opening something up in the future, we can contact you to hire you and see our follow ups.

Hate, nonsense, jealousy. I’ll pass.

Depends how well you can dance

Obviously I cannot dance. That is why I hire a *dancing* monkey. That monkey would do the fun part of dancing while I do the boring part of finding an audience and collecting all the money.

Funny thing is the monkey is likely already dancing :))

So does the PA see the new patient and decide what procedure for me to do? Sounds like you need IR, not pain physicians.

If nothing else, this thread should be a lesson to Physicians and strong teaching point. The balls on these midlevels to even suggest such a thing/pitch out this idea, and the expansion of scope creep is real. I mean my God, this guy went as far as mis-labeling himself as a “Pain PA.” As if there is a specialty track with residency and fellowship. If state and federal government won’t wake up to this; it’s up to Physicians to step it up and put an end to this nonsense. Ultimately, it is patients who will suffer (or end up paralyzed).

I’d love to dismiss him as a troll, but looks like Mr. “Octavian” is just a greedy fool.

Honestly, I don’t understand why any midlevel would *choose* to do pain compared to literally any area except psychiatry.

That would be some dedicated long term trolling

Looks like he misspelled "fellow pain physicians" in that thread too. He should be banned at this point.

Peeps: not to burst your trashing seminar , but liberal states are sponsoring PA opioid clinics and “forced “ trigger point clinics... it’s real, and scary .

Liberal states like Utah? Where NPs won independence specifically to run pain clinics?

Yes, their US senator enacted policy at the state level 🙄 that’s why it was passed unanimously.

It’s RINO by the way.

Bear in mind that is EXACTLY the same practice model espoused by your typical KOL working for multiple device manufacturers. The PA/NP is your “medical arm” and physician is the “surgical arm” of the practice. I’ve heard it over and over again with my own ears. This is the end result of something our own colleagues created. Doctors need to do all of the doctoring.

Thanks for explaining what interventional procedures are. You are on point.
I wish you all the best in your next career.

Oh my god. That video on the website. Everything about that is ridiculous. Claiming they’re a Medical specialist, avoiding use of the word Doctor, quickly throwing in PA education followed by jargon of nonsense “specialties,” sympathetic story, expletive, and horrible editing cuts. Please tell me this is not him. This Octavian Mihai guy is officially crazy; comes off as Don’t F With Cats level crazy.

Maybe he is just a doctor who is licensed in Pennsylvania? Hence a Pain PA.

if so please accept my sincerest of apologies

It is indeed Octavian. Looking at his previous posts, he doxxed himself by putting his name.

Go to medical school if you want to practice medicine. Leave us out of it.

This boy is all in. Saw some of his posts. I love how he's wearing a stethoscope in his apartment in numerous videos. He's no better than those scammers on youtube selling get rich quick schemes. But he's got some balls coming here and looking for a monkey. Sad thing is if he looks hard enough he actually might find someone desperate enough to dance...
