In adding a LOR, you must select whether or not the author is associated with a school. I'm adding a LOR from a physician I work with, who happens to be an adjunct assistant clinical professor at a college that I would be applying to.

I originally thought that this was just to indicate LORs from professors for schools that require evals from science + non-science profs, because your attended colleges pop up to select... Was I wrong? Is this to avoid behind the scenes issues / conflicts of interest?

Apologies if this is reading too much into a simple yes or no dropdown - want to do this whole re-app thing correctly.

Don’t overthink it. In the event that you apply to a school and the physician happens to be a admissions committee member (which is unlikely), they will figure that out themselves whether that person should recuse themselves.
