LOR from community college professors?

Would it be frowned upon if I submitted an LOR from a community college professor whom I built a strong connection with? This professor taught me general chemistry 1 in a community college.

I don't see a problem with it. Especially if they will write you a strong rec letter vs. someone from a 4-year who will write a vague one.
