Has anyone gotten a LOR from a community college professor and got into top dental schools?(like UCLA)
I’m thinking of getting one from my community college general chemistry professor that I took 2.5 years ago because I went to his OH almost every week, asked many questions, and excelled in his class (+often received the highest scores out of my classmates in the exam, which he was aware of). So I’m pretty sure that he will write me a good and strong LOR.

I’m asking because I heard from somewhere that dental schools prefer to see a letter of recommendation from a 4-year university professor.

I had two recommendation letters from community college professors and I got into three schools! I'm not sure what would be considered a top school though.
