Looking for possible suggestions in my situation. I recently went to an interview and the interviewer informed me that one of my LORs is addressed as "she" whIle I am a male. The letter writer addressed myself as a "she" in multiple sentences of the letter. This letter was waived so I had no idea and was completely speechless. This is an utterly stupid careless mistake on the doctors behalf. It even suggests to programs the letter was copy and pasted. I'm not sure what to do now. I reached out to that doctor and am awaiting a reply.
I believe once a letter is assigned theres nothing we can do to remove it. I'm really worried if this totally crapped my matching chances. Right now im planning to ask the attending to write me another letter explaining the error which i will take with me on my remaining interviews. I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions.
