LOR official letterhead?

I want to get a letter from a former volunteer supervisor who is retiring. We have a great relationship and the letter should be strong. However, she's retiring from my former undergrad and may not be able to write the letter on official university letterhead/paper. Will DO schools accept this letter?

You really want it to be on letterhead and signed. Those are 2 major requirements that most schools will be picky on.

Can I use interfolio? I've heard that all DO schools accept interfolio.

Yes you can. I used Interfolio for all my LORs. It's convenient because sometimes the writer forgets to add your AACOMAS # or if you plan to apply DO/MD and you don't want the number in the letter you can attach your number to the delivery manually.

There might be some schools that won't require letterhead so it's always best you call and ask.

Thanks! I mean, a letter from a volunteer supervisor isn't required, so I may just have to not ask for the letter if the letterhead requirement is too rigid.
