So I am applying family medicine, but my third FM letter hasn't come in yet. I have 2 prepped and ready to go, and a letter from an IM preceptor on standby.
However, I'm concerned that the IM preceptor wrote that I'd make a good IM physician rather than an FP (but it is a strong letter, according to him). Is this going to matter much? Should I just submit anyway and add the pending FP letter as a 4th one later on? I know there are "filter times" tomorrow that we as applicants should try to hit.
