When a school recieves the LOR on your behalf do they look the the biography of that particular physician? Or do they read it and put it in a file cabnet with all of the others?
When a school recieves the LOR on your behalf do they look the the biography of that particular physician? Or do they read it and put it in a file cabnet with all of the others?
1. They open it up.
2. They put it in your file.
3. Adcoms look through and read it.
4. They scrutinize it.
5. They put it back in file.
6. They may/may not question you on it.
I don't think the person's biography matters really....but if the person writing the letter is known by one or more members of the adcom, that is obviously relevant.

Nice. Dr. I, if you are attending DCOM, why does your signature say class of 2012? Are you defering a year or did you just have trouble counting the years?
