So, is it possible to send an extra LOR to *dream school* after interview invite but before interview? Is this an uncommon practice?

I have a LOR that I think is REALLY GREAT, and think it would be a really nice addition to my file...but, of course, the app deadline has already passed. Do some schools allow updates to the file at anytime? I didn't see anything on that schools website about sending (or not sending) additional materials...

Any thoughts?

(I know - why don't I just call the school...)

I had an extra LOR the middle/end of november and sent it to everyone. Not sure if it helped, but I don't think it hurt anything. If you send it in time your interviewers will have a chance to read it before you go and it could carry more influence than sending it after you interview (although I'm just speculating). Hope you get into your dream school

Did you ask? Or just send?

I just sent it. I did send a quick e-mail to the next school that I was going to visit saying something like "I recently received an additional LOR and have forwarded it for inclusion in my file". I was later accepted at the school, so didn't hurt.
