Since I will soon be applying I have started asking teachers for LOR's. I am planning on getting 3 seperate science letters because we do not have a committee that makes up one overall letter. My question is since I will be getting one of my letters hopefully this week can I have my teacher just mail it to me and have him sign the back of the envelope to signify that I have not looked at? I am really unsure of how to handle this since I don't want to send in the letters too early or else they might get lost. Does anyone have suggestions??

Yes, have the LOR's sent to you. For me, I had my teachers & doctors write in the full addresses of the schools I intended on applying to(obviously had them sign the envelope & etc.). Then once I was ready to apply, all I did was put stamps on them and sent them out.

I had them all sent to me in sealed envelopes and then packaged them all in one folder for each school. Then I sent one packet to each school like UPS or insured USPS.

Hope that helps.
