Is it okay to select "General letter" (whatever it says) instead of "for specific" (or whatever it says)?

Yes, the letter writer should already know what the letter is for. I selected this and it's working out just fine!

N0t to hijack, but my interfolio LoRs are not signed. Will this be a problem? I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on this yet.

It could be at programs that specifically state "signed on official letterhead". If you can ask you writers for a new LOR that is signed.

Ya almost all the school will require the letters to be signed.

There is a virtual signing method so it shouldn't be difficult for the writers.

So question. Will I know if they signed it? And I asked my writer for an official letter head. Whatever that is. Is that required??

You mean an option is presented them to virtual sign when they submit the letter? I have know way of seeing any signature on my end.

There's not way to know whether your writer signed or not through interfolio. You have to ask the writer personally.

Officially letter head is required at 99% of ther schools. It just means that the lor must be printed on offical university paper or offical clinic or hospital papers. ( with the logos and address/department/ blah blah on somewhere of the paper) I believe this process adds credibility, since it's hard for students to obtain or steal such papers!

So does interfolio have the option of including an electronic signature or do u have to ask the writer to do it prior

What's to stop someone from sending themselves the LOR to preread it if u use interfolio?!
