So I found out today that one of my professors has been suspended from my university and is facing possible criminal charges for stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment from the Physics department. I got my letter of rec from him over a month ago and already assigned it to all of the schools I was applying at. Is his situation going to basically render that letter completely useless and potentially harm my application?
