I'm a non-traditional applying this fall.

It has been four years since I last graduated college. I only had to recently complete organic / physics / & one Bio class in order to complete podiatry pre req's. I received A's in all of those.

However, I never had the same teacher twice. I never got to know any of them on a personal level.

Bottom line: I'm having a difficult time trying to find a professor to write a LOR. The two I have asked so far nicely said they only write them for students they know very well.

Anyone have any suggestions ? I know I need at least one from a professor & am sure I can get two from Pod's.

Have you tried talking to your counseling center? I kinda was in the same boat you were and I just ended up asking around and eventually got them. The teachers that I had write for asked me to summarize myself and my performance in their class. Just keep asking, don't give up and talk to a counselor for it.
