lors still not mailed out PLEASE HELP

i am very sad over this....my app was mailed out aug 18th, and i had my lor's complete last week, when i told my undergrad institution to mail them to the individual schools. they still haven't mailed it and i wonder how late i am in the application cycle....all my schools have the hard copy of my app but w/ the absence of my lors it is getting kinda scary.....
am i screwed?
