Hi all:

I am getting ready to apply August 1,2012. I am still waiting on a couple of LORs, however I received one yesterday.
How long are these letters supposed to be?
Mine was about half a page, I wasnt sure if I should tell him to write more or not?
Also, he accidentally put that Im applying for 2012 but Im actually applying to sit for fall 2013, does that matter?
Last question, do I send the letters or do the authors of the letters send them?

You didn't waive your right to read the letters? Graduate schools generally don't look favorably upon something like that.

This is dependent on your relationship with the author

This shouldn't be too big of issue. During the interviews you can specify that he/she misunderstood when exactly you had planned to attend

Either way. If you send them, they're usually already sealed and signed.

hope that helps

one of my lor had this statement in it...

"he the compassion and light be a podiatrist, He would have made a great dentist though...."

when i read this, i laughed soo hard...
