Lost LoRs?

OK, freaking out a bit. My med school said they sent two LoRs and my transcript to the ECFMG around week beginning 2nd July. Nothing has been received by ECFMG so far. I'm guessing mail should take around one week by airmail from the UK to the USA, any thoughts on whether I should be getting worried about this package being lost? (Really praying my school wasn't being stupid and sent it by surface mail 😱)

Can they not be scanned? Does your original letter writer hopefully have a saved copy? I think mail overseas sometimes takes a while, so don't freak out just yet, but if it does not arrive by the end of the month, I'd consider options like scanning.

I believe it takes ECFMG quite a while to update the status about LORs and documents received. They are usually about 1-2 weeks behind. And scanning and uploading the ERAS takes even longer. When my LORs were mailed to ECFMG from within the US it took a couple of weeks for ECFMG to verify they had received them so I wouldn't worry.

Just got confirmation of receipt today 🙂 arrived on the 19th.
