Loupes?? (if you are nearsighted)

Hello!

This may seem like a weird question, but how do loupes work if I already wear prescription eyeglasses to correct my vision. Are there certain loupes that I wear over my glasses or would I have to get contacts? I am not aware of the options that would be available as an incoming dental student.

Depends on the company. Some will make the glass with your prescription and others will give you inserts.

I wear glasses and have terrible vision without it.
I just wear loupes that has prescription.
Kinda annoying when I have to keep changing between glasses and loupes while seeing patients

You can typically get them with your prescription, but as previously mentioned, can be annoying having to switch between them and your regular glasses all the time
