I graduated in 2016 with bachelor science degree in Pharmaceutical sciences
Im currently working in related field..
Long story short, I made poor choices graduated with cumulative GPA 2.8 and even lower science GPA.
My performance were poor on classes towards my major which are upper level pharmaceutical courses and some poor choices in elective courses like French. I have average in B in pre- requisits for DPT. but with over all GPA, Therese almost no way to get in with this bachelor as it is.
I am hoping to go back to school pursuit career in Physical therapy even if I'd have to start over or take some detour..I have absolutely no experience in the field so I was thinking about:

Getting associated degree for PTA (get national license and earn some experience) - Will the courses and grades from PTA associate degree add towards my total GPA in bachelor degree I already earned? or is it total nonsense?

OR

Can I take post-bachelor classes that I could take to raise my GPA towards DPT program?

What are the options for someone like me who already earned bachelor degree in science related field but does not meet minimum requirements as far as it goes with grades and experience?

Go to a community college and take every prerequisite that you got a C in and possibly be ones with B’s too. This is the cheapest route. Then apply after the majority of your prerequisites are A’s. Here are my stats and story below. I graduated with a 2.602, and I got into multiple programs. This is not to brag but to show you if I can do it, so can you.

Good luck. Don’t settle for PTA, cause you will always ask, “what if later?” And that thinking WILL KILL YOU. Good luck.
