TL;DR - former international dental student (not graduated), sub-3.0 uGPA, B.S. Biochem in 2011, 21AA DAT, retaking classes, what can I do to get accepted by a dental school in the US?

I graduated from the Ohio State in 2011 as a Biochem major with uGPA of 2.72, sGPA: 2.42

After I graduated I went abroad and studied Dentistry up to year 4, but could not graduate from there due to my green card process to enter the U.S. within a certain date. This date, ended up being prior to graduation, so I have not finished the program. I have a plenty of exposure to clinical settings and hands on experience on dentistry due to this fact... yet to acquire shadowing hours from the clinics in the U.S. though...

Going back to the former school is not an option for me as I could lose my green card if I stay outside of the U.S. for too long. (by too long, it can be a month or 6 months depending on how the immigration officer at the airport feels like it...)

I took DAT last year and got:

Academic Average 21
Biology 18
General Chemistry 19
Organic Chemistry 15
Perceptual Ability 22
Quantitative Reasoning 26
Reading Comprehension 25

My Org Chem score is very low, so I will retake DAT later this year.

I have been doing post-bacc to retake my old classes, as admissions at NYU said my courses are expired. Will be retaking all of them and some missing pre-req classes by next spring. If I get straight A's for every classes, I'll only be 2.99 overall GPA and 2.92 sGPA. But I'm not sure if this is a valid way to see it because I had already retook both organic chemistry I and II, and pretty much every Biochem classes before graduation. I am worried that adcoms won't take "retaking them for the third time 7 years later because of prereq expiration" as an excuse...

Is there any chance for me to get accepted by a dental school in the US? How can I increase my chances if it's low?
