My MCAT is in 1 week. My scores on practice tests (in order) have been: 26,32,32,30 and then most recently, another 26. I'm wondering what to make of this? Should I postpone?

Thanks for any input..

If your test is truly one week away, you cannot postpone.

Are you reviewing your tests? A 6 point variance from a previous test tells me that you had a pretty good weakness pointed out hard in your most recent exam. Perhaps you were just worn out and not having a good day.

Either way, I would tell you to review your test extensively, learn from it, and take another practice test. If you scored two 32's, you're probably in very good shape.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. And yeah, I meant cancel/not-take, rather than postpone. I review the practice AAMCs but I don't know... it seems like it just depends on the cutoffs/passages I get on the test. Really scared, not sure what to do really :S

Take it, your average is around 30. Don't worry about an outlier score. Flukes happen to everyone.

You can always retake MCAT, and there's no more this year after Sept.

Thanks. I'll just hope for the best, I suppose.
As a side note, with my test only days away, I feel like I just have SO much more I could learn. Anyone else in the same boat or am I just poorly prepared?

Same boat. 🙂 I'm writing on the 11th haha but have a lot on my plate this week besides the MCAT.

I would go for it unless you completely screw up. I voided and kinda wished I hadn't.
