Low sGPA in intro courses

in Bio 1, Chem 1, Calc 1, I have got B-, B, and C.

I did well in my upper level courses like o-chem, Biochem, graduate biochemistry, inorganic are all As.

Wondering how this looks. sGPA is 3.6.

I had pretty much the same thing---- slacked off freshman year but then got As for all the upper level classes... I don't think it harmed me too much, as I had a decently successful cycle and was ultimately accepted to my top choice. The upward trend looks good, but you should definitely be prepared to explain yourself because interviewers like to ask about weak spots.
